ISWA RECEIVES FULL TERM WASC ACCREDITATION!
March 7, 2008Our school recently received notification of a six-year accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Six years is the maximum length of accreditation granted by WASC.
The mission of WASC is to foster excellence in elementary, secondary, adult, and post-secondary education and to certify to the public that the school is a trustworthy institution of learning. Criteria for accreditation include: Organization for Student Learning, Curriculum and Instruction, Support for Student Personal and Academic Growth, and Resource Management and Development.
The Accrediting Commission for Schools congratulated our school on the quality of instruction being offered in our school.
