The International School of Western Australia is consistently ranked as one of Australia’s Top Schools for NAPLAN.
Every year, all students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 in Australian schools undertake compulsory testing in literacy and numeracy. These tests are known as NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy). For the past four years, The Weekend Australian newspaper has undertaken a national analysis of the results. We are again delighted with our results.
For the fourth year in a row (2012-2015), our Primary students have achieved 1st place in Western Australia and 14th Place in Australia. Over the same time period, our Secondary students have been placed 3rd, 6th, 4th and 17th in Western Australia and 18th in Australia. (Note: There are approximately 9,500 schools in Australia.)
