Educating Global Citizens

The International School of Western Australia (ISWA) is an independent, co-educational, non-denominational school that caters for local and overseas students.  It is currently located in the leafy seaside suburb of City Beach and will be relocating to its magnificent new campus in the beautiful suburb of Doubleview in mid-2020.

ISWA is the only true international school in Australia.  ISWA is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Kindergarten to Year 6; Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Years 7 through to Year 10 and the Diploma Programme (DP) in Years 11 and 12.

ISWA is the only school in Australia to offer the prestigious U.S. College-based Advanced Placement (AP) Programme in Years 11 and 12.  This allows graduates direct second-year entry into U.S. Colleges and Universities, as well as entry into Australian and overseas universities.

International, open and cultural mindedness are the core values of ISWA. Our international curriculum, holistic education, and excellent academic results prepare our students for further studies around the world, and position ISWA as a well-recognised and sought-after international school that also has a prominent profile in the Western Australian educational landscape.

Our purpose at ISWA is for our students and graduates to become multilingual global citizens who take the initiative to make a positive difference in the world.

I look forward to welcoming prospective and new parents to the ISWA community.

What our parents say

Choosing the right school for our children is very important and ISWA has proven to be the right fit for our family. We are impressed by the caring and knowledgeable homeroom teachers our children have had so far, as well as the connection ISWA has with Language One, to keep up with our Dutch language education.
