Hearing all about the awesome work the students did on the Year 9-12 Fijian Service Trip 2019 at our High School assembly. 🏝️⁣

Rustic Pathways developed a wonderful range of exciting and enlightening programs that immersed our students in Fijian Life. Operating from three unique and picturesque bases – a tropical village retreat in Yasawa Island, a traditional bure nestled in the Nausori Highlands, and an eco-lodge that overlooked peaceful Momi Bay – students were offered an unmatched array of opportunities to explore Fiji’s beautiful tropical islands and to get to know the friendly local people. Fijian culture, respect for the Fijian people and the magnificent islands allowed our students to enjoy their extensive community service and adventure trip in 2019.⁣

Last week the Year 2’s had @remidaperth visit the school for an exciting incursion.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The students had to make something that moves using tools and recycled materials. This was for their unit of inquiry “people apply their understanding of forces and materials to invent and create.”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We had some boats, cars and spinners. One student even said “the is the best day at school ever!” It looks like we have some little engineers in the making⛵🚗
