Senior Years (11-12) DP

In the Senior Years, students at ISWA step into a learning environment designed to inspire ambition, deepen understanding and prepare them for future pathways. It’s a time of focused study, personal growth and expanding horizons.

The IB Diploma Programme

At ISWA, our IB Diploma Programme for Years 11 and 12 offers an internationally recognised qualification that opens doors to leading universities worldwide. This rigorous and balanced curriculum challenges student to think critically, inquire deeply and make meaningful connections across disciplines. It promotes intercultural understanding and ethical responsibility in a connected world.

Students select subjects from six academic groups and engage with the IB Core – Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) – developing essential skills for lifelong learning. Beyond academics, our programme fosters international-mindedness, resilience, advocacy skills and global citizenship.

High School Diploma

ISWA is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a U.S-based accrediting body. This means that students who meet ISWA’s graduation requirements are eligible to receive the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma, opening doors to universities across North America and beyond. Students who transfer to ISWA during years 11 or 12 can also complete credit requirements by taking High School or Advanced Placement classes online. ISWA is also an SAT and AP exam centre.

With passionate teachers, personalised support and a caring community, ISWA empowers learners to pursue their interests, achieve their goals, and thrive in an environment of excellence. With the support of teachers and our dedicated Careers and College Counsellor, our graduates regularly achieve their top choice of universities and colleges around the world.
