Empowering Global Futures: How ISWA Prepares Students for Life After School
30 July 2025
“Hey, are you guys a music school?” asked one member of the public after witnessing our Upper Primary and Secondary Swans put on a gig for the ages at the @rosemount_hotel_ last Saturday. 🎤
We’re obliged to say our students did a great job, but we *cannot stress enough* how absolutely spectacular our rockstars were, with Swans as young as 11 (!!!) stepping onto the stage in front of a hundred-strong crowd and performing together as if it was as natural as breathing and as well as the musicians they were covering. 🦢
It doesn’t just take creativity and a musical ear to do what our students did and do, it takes resilience, courage and excellent collaborative skills. They are a credit to themselves, their parents, and, of course, their wonderful music teacher, Mr Johnston, who put together this showcase of the musical talent at every level of our growing school.
For those who are going to continue to rock, we salute you. 🤘
